The Presidential Candidate of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, has stated that he will appoint Prof. John Evans Atta Mills as his Council of State Chairman when he is voted into office as President.

He also promised to make Nana Akufo-Addo, presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), his Speaker of Parliament.

Dr. Nduom made this known in Cape Coast on Tuesday when he met the Central Regional House of Chiefs.

He explained that his visit to the place was to introduce himself to the chiefs and solicit their support towards his ambition to become President of Ghana.

Dr. Nduom said he would build an airstrip in the Central Region to promote tourism, when given the nod.

He promised to revive all collapsed industries to create more jobs for the youth and also establish food processing factories in the region to give relief to farmers whose farm produce, he contended, go waste for lack of ready markets.

The newly-elected President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusie, called on chiefs to mobilise their people and encourage them to ensure peaceful elections.

Dr. Nduom was accompanied by the national chairman of CPP and other regional executives.
