Apostle Warns Juju-Seeking Politicians

By Jonathan Gmanyami , Davidkrom -

THE Head of the Apostles Mission Church (AMC), Apostle Sam Darko, has warned politicians and their supporters who have gone in for blood-thirsty powers to help them win the December election or are planning to cause confusion and mayhem if things do not go in their favour, to rethink or face God's wrath.

He said it was sad that some people in their quest for power, were bent on using any means without thinking of the effects of their action on the larger society.  “They do not mind killing.”

Apostle Sam Darko gave the warning last Sunday at a special prayer session for peaceful election at the church's headquarters at Davidkrom on the Larteh-Mamfe road.

He said the recent spate of violence resulting in the loss of lives was due to some spiritual powers or forces some people were using to forcefully gain political power.

Apostle Sam Darko said: “God will not look on for a few wicked and greedy persons to continue destroying innocent lives.

“I am therefore urging all Christians, especially members of my church, to continue praying for the nation.  Worst things would have happened but for the intercessions which have been held and are still being held for the nation,” he added.
