VINCENT ODOTEI Sowah, former acting Chief Executive Officer of premier league giants, Accra Hearts of Oak, has now pitched camp with Kumasi King Faisal as CEO.

This was confirmed by the founder and bankroller of the Kumasi-based club, Alhaji Karim Grunsah, in a radio interview in Accra yesterday.

According to Alhaji Grunsah, in 2005 when he was contesting the Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidency together with Mr. Sowah and Kwesi Nyantakyi, he was privileged to chance upon the curriculum vitae (CV) and proposals of Odotei and was convinced that when given the opportunity, the former Hearts CEO will bring more innovations and ideas to Ghana football.

The King Faisal bankroller is also noted for working with very brilliant football administrators, notable among them Herbert Mensah, George Amoako and until recently Oduro Nyarko who has been appointed chief executive officer of Wa All Stars.

Odotei was spotted at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi yesterday in the company of Alhaji Grunsah, watching proceedings of a football game in honour of the late Finance Minister, Hon Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu, involving King Faisal and Asante Kotoko, which game King Faisal won by a lone goal.

Reports reaching DAILY GUIDE SPORTS indicate that Mr Odotei has assumed office as the new CEO of the club and he is expected to bring his expertise to bear on the club.
