Coca Cola Supports Baah Wiredu

THE COCA-COLA Bottling Company of Ghana Limited has presented an assortment of its drinks to the Ministry of Finance in support of the funeral of the late Finance Minister, Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu.

Mr. Baah-Wiredu died on Wednesday September 24, 2008, in South Africa.

Presenting the items, Ike Cudjoe, Head of Public Affairs and Communications of Coca-Cola said the presentation was to show the company's respect for an outstanding minister who displayed a lot of dexterity in his profession.

He described the late Mr. Baah-Wiredu as an affable person who would be remembered not only by Ghanaians but other individuals across the world who came into contact with him.

He said his company had a lot of collaborations with the ministry and for that matter the late Finance Minister, on a lot of issues, and his absence would be really felt.

He extended the company's condolences to the bereaved family and Ghanaians at large.  

Madam Cynthia Asare Badiako, Director of Administration & Head of Procument of the ministry, thanked Coca-Cola for the gesture, and urged them to continue with their good works in Ghana.
