Pioneer Gives To 3 Assemblies

PIONEER Food Cannery Limited has presented 150 cartons of assorted Star Kist Tuna products valued at $25,000 to three assemblies in the Greater Accra Region in support of this year's Farmers' Day celebration.

They are the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, Ashaiman Municipal Assembly and Ledzokuku Krowor Municipal Assembly.

Mr Nichol J. Elizabeth, General Manager of the company, emphasised the company's commitment to its corporate social responsibility to the community as a whole.

The products were received on behalf of the assemblies by Mr David Q. Annang, Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mr A. B. Okyere, Ashaiman Municipal Chief Executive and Mr Ebenezer Adjee Osekre, Ledzokuku Krowor Municipal Chief Executive.

Mr Annang on behalf of the Assemblies, thanked Pioneer Food Cannery for keeping their promise to share in the celebration of the nation's farmers each year, and urged them to make their presence as a multi-national more prominent in the metropolis.

The company has in the past years, made similar presentations to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Tema Metropolitan Assembly.
