Major roads in Kwaebibirem District are being rehabilitated as a face-lift programme.
Rehabilitation of four feeder roads have been completed, while work on three others are on-going.
Mr Yaw Yiadom-Boakye, Kwaebibirem District Chief Executive, addressing the assembly said the roads that had been completed roads were Okumaning Junction – Afiase road, Seinya Junction-Seinya, Topreman Junction – Adenkynsu road and Mallam Junction – Akodiere road.
Work is progressing on the Okumaning-Apraku-Gyaha road, Seinya Junction to Seinya road and Soabe – Takrowase road.
Projects awarded on contract include construction of Boadua Junction-Takyimang and Asubone-Anweaso Ofoase roads.
The rest are Subikese – Ofoase, Topreman Junction – Apampatia – Kade Junction – Ofoase and Takrowase junction – Akuamoah roads.
Mr Yiadom-Boakye said four other roads were to have bitumen surfacing, they include Boadua Junction – Topreman, Adankrono – Pramkese – Takyimang – Akyem Akropong Kade – Akyem Wenchi – Akyem Oda and Abodom – Pramkese roads.
