Several companies on Thursday presented cash and other items to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in support of this year's Farmers' Day celebration.
They are UT Logistics which gave, GHC1,000 and a vehicle; Golden Stork (200 bags of rice and GHC5,000), Ghana Rubber Estate (GHC2,000) and Agrimat Limited.
The rest are: GHAFCO, Yara, Multi-vate Company, Nestle Ghana Limited and Merchant Bank.
Mr. Ernest Debrah, Minister of Food and Agriculture, who received the donations, expressed the ministry's appreciation to all institutions that have supported them over the years.
