THE HONOUR and prestige of emerging the best player and goal-king of the Onetouch Premier League has indeed served as a morale-booster for Ghana's Eric Bekoe.
It has encouraged the player to explore more challenges elsewhere.
DAILY GUIDE SPORTS has learnt that Eric Bekoe will embark on a European tour to try and replicate the feats he chalked on the local front.
Bekoe who won the Best Player and Goal King award for the 2007/08 soccer season is on his way to Europe for trials which will take him about a month.
Notable among the clubs he will have trials with are German football giants, Bayer Leverkusen, FC Copenhagen of Denmark and Sweden's Rosenberg.
The player will be leaving the shores of Ghana in the company of some club officials and his manager.
Bekoe, who scored 17 goals last season to help Asante Kotoko win the Onetouch Premier League, was part of the senior national team that thrashed Lesotho 3-0 in the penultimate round of the World Cup/Africa Cup 2010 qualifiers at the Sekondi Essipong Stadium earlier in the month.
