SAMIRA Bawumia, wife of the NPP vice presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, on Saturday addressed students of the Islamic University College (IUC) in Accra .
The symposium was organized by the IUC's Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) of the NPP under the theme: “The role of the youth in national development'.
Mrs Bawumia told the students that the next NPP government is putting in place a comprehensive system to boost education in the country.
She also said Nana Akuffo Addo, the NPP Presidential Candidate will initiate youth centered programmes to enable the youth to play a significant role in the country's development.
Mrs Bawumia urged the youth to be law abiding and not allow themselves to be influenced to cause chaos in the forthcoming election.
