Kassam Citizens in UK come to assist Methodist Primary

Kassam Citizens Association in the United Kingdom has built a two-unit classroom block, office and store at the cost of GH¢5,300 for Kassam Methodist Primary School in the Kwabre East District of Ashanti Region.

The association has also provided the school with tables and desks.

Mr. Joseph Wilson Kwadwo Baafi, representative of the association in Ghana, told the GNA in Kumasi that the gesture was to help improve the facilities at the school to enhance teaching and learning.

He said the 16-member association aims at improving the level of education in the area hence the donation and support for the school.

Mr. Baafi emphasised the vital role of education in the socio-economic development of the country and urged parents to give quality education to their children to enable them become responsible citizens in future.

Mr. Opoku Mensah, Headteacher of Methodist Primary School, thanked the association.
