Creative Eye Supports Rotary Club

By Daily Guide

CREATIVE EYE Ltd, a leading advertising company in Ghana, has donated GH¢500 towards a school building project being undertaken the Rotary Club of Ring Road Central (RRC) at Asempanaye, a village near Koforidua in the Eastern region.

The gesture formed part of activities marking Creative Eye's first anniversary.

This school project, according to Rotarian Jeffrey Afful, President of the Rotary Club of RRC is a commitment to make Asempanaye a model village for Rotary clubs all over the world, admitting that the donation could not have come at a better time.

“We promise that the funds will be used for the project and thanks to Creative Eye for this generous gesture”, he added.

Rotarian Afful further indicated that through various fund raising activities, the club had raised and spent over GH¢10,000 to cover large portions of the project.

After completion, he said that the objective of the club to provide community service to communities which are less fortunate might have been achieved.

“It will also be an opportunity for more than one hundred school children from within five surrounding villages to benefit from, receiving their education in a more suitable learning environment”, he explained.

Other donors to assist the worthy cause include Aviation Alliance, which gave out $2,000; GH ¢1,000 from A-Kon Consult; $500 from Gyandoh Asmah & Co. while a special fund raising walk by the club yielded GH¢3,000. By Nathaniel Y. Yankson
