The Breman Asikuma magistrate court has sentenced 24-year-old farmer from Breman Asikuma to 30 months imprisonment in hard labour for steeling a sheep.

Aaron Bawa pleaded guilty.

Prosecuting Police Chief Inspector Gherson Awuyeeh told the court presided over by Mrs. Cynthia Andy that on October 09, the complainant detected that her sheep had been stolen from her pen.

He said the woman went to Breman Asikuma Police station to report the theft but to her surprise she saw her sheep tied to a tree near the police station.

A policeman at the charge office later told the woman that Bawa was arrested on a bus with the sheep at a police check point.
