The Chief of Essienimpong in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality, Nana Kwaku Bio, on Friday expressed concern about the rate at which some of the presidential candidates and their supporters use derogatory speeches and insults in their campaign messages.

Nana Kwaku Bio told the GNA in an interview that “some of them go to the extent of attacking the opponents' personality and health conditions. Such acts do not speak well of the country”, he said.

Nana Bio appealed to them to talk about the good plans they have for the country and outline methods they would use to achieve such plans when Ghanaians give them their mandate.

He urged the media to be circumspect with whatever they would put in the public domain, during and after the December election to protect the country's peace.

Nana Bio advised the youth not to allow politicians to use them to achieve their personal ambitions.
