Stanbic Bank, one of the fastest growing banks in Ghana, is to double its branch network by the close of the year.
According to the bank, a new branch will be opened for business in the Pyramid Towers on the Ring Road and two other branches at Achimota and Maamobi all in the national capital Accra.
At a launch of two new products to help encourage savings among Ghanaians, the Head of Corporate Affairs of the bank, Mr Mawuko Afadzinu, said the branch network of the bank was growing and so was the range of its services and products.
The two products are the Contract Save and the Bonus Investments. This will enable customers of the bank to develop a good saving culture by setting up a monthly minimum standing order of which an attractive bonus interest would be earned over a specific period of time.
Mr Afadzinu says the promotion, dubbed “Out of the Blue” requires a minimum deposit of GH¢250 in a ContractSave or Current Account immediately one enters into a weekly draw and into the Mega Coolly Blue draw at the end of the promotion on December 2, 2008.
Giving details of the other product, Mr Afadzinu stated that the Bonus Investment was a flexible investment product that enabled one to invest a lump sum over a fixed period of time and that earns one an attractive bonus interest.
The minimum balance and transaction is GH¢5,000.
