The Assembly Member for Akim Osino, Mrs Margaret Amponsah Doku has initiated a project to organize women in her electoral area to enable them get financial assistance from the Mumuadu Rural Bank.
She explained that, the initiative was to assistance the women to expand their commercial activities and improve their standard of living.
She was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview At Osino.
Mrs Amponsah-Doku appealed to the leadership of the National Disaster Management Organization(NADMO) in the Fanteakwa District to come to the aid of Madam Agnes Kwabua whose kitchen and other property were burnt by fire at Osino.
She said Madam Kwabua had her kitchen completely burnt down with three sheep, four goats, twenty fowls and a number of cooking utensils.
Mrs Doku-Amponsah told GNA that she had visited the scene and the condition of Madam Kwabua was not the best and that she need some support.
