The Second Annual Diasporan African-Ghanaian Investment conference would be held in Accra from October 30 - November 7, organisers said in Accra on Wednesday.
A statement by “Africa for Africans and Africa Up” said the conference would bring a 40-member investment delegation from the Diaspora, together with Ghanaian business interests.
It said invited guests included representatives from the Ministries of Tourism and Diasporan Relations; Trade and Industry and Food and Agriculture. There would also be bankers, legal experts small and medium size businesses.
The statement said the conference would facilitate and promote trade and investment between Ghanaian and Diasporan Africans; boost interest in Diasporans exploring investment opportunities; link up Africans in the Diaspora with Ghanaians to facilitate business development and provide a support platform for trade and investment activity.
