NPP-USA Connecticut chapter has donated 10,000 pieces of bumper stickers to the party in Accra as part of their contribution towards the preparation of the party for victory in December.

They have promised to provide more as and when necessary.

According the leaders of the Connecticut chapter, the Kufuor-led NPP government has been the best government that Ghana has ever had and they are very proud of it and will always pray to God for this government to continue with its good work and even come up with such initiatives for the betterment of the country.

Eugene Ofori, Nana Agyei Yeboah and Eugene Kyerematen in an interview with The Statesman urged Ghanaians to remain calm and peaceful as they have always been for the December election. "We are all Ghanaians and one people irrespective of one's tribe. The word Love is something Ghanaians value a lot'.

They further called on all stakeholders including the Electoral Commission, the Security Agencies, Ghanaians and the Media, who had a crucial role to play in ensuring peaceful elections to operate within the confines of the rules of electoral procedures in the country.

They asked Ghanaians to take a cue from neighboring countries, which had experienced violence during their elections and that the youth in the country should never allow the impending election to be marred by conflicts.

They appealed to traditional leaders to educate their people to stay away from people who would want to use them to cause violence to achieve their selfish interests.

They also urged the youth to play significant role in national development and should not do anything that would negatively affect the country"s quest for development.
