Fifty trainees in Abuakwa acquire skills in dressmaking and tailoring

Fifty trainees in dressmaking and tailoring drawn from the Abuakwa zone of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmaking Association, on Friday graduated after a
three-year training programme, at Abuakwa.
Mr. Eric Boakye Yiadom, chairman of the zonal association, congratulated the trainees for successfully completing the training and urged them to seriously practice their trade to enable them to earn a living.

He appealed to officials of the Atwima Nwabiagya District Assembly, to discuss with members of the association on how best they could pay rates and fees to the assembly.
Mr. David Achina, secretary of the association, urged parents to ensue that children they have asked to acquire vocational skills take their training seriously.
He advised dressmakers and tailors to treat their customers with honesty and dignity.
Reverend Moses Tanyo of the Atwima-Agogo Assemblies of God Church prayed for God's guidance for the graduands.
