Kwasi Appiah signs Ghana deal

Kwasi Appiah has agreed a one-year renewable contract with the Ghana Football Association to hold the position as assistant coach of the Black Stars.


The coach signed the contract yesterday before leaving with the Black Stars to Sekondi for Saturday?s World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.

Kwasi Appiah would receive a monthly salary cap of $3,000.

Appiah has been assistant coach of the senior national team since the Nations Cup ended as the substantive assistant coach.

He is a former Ghana international who enjoyed a successful career with both the national side and for club, Asante Kotoko.
