A magistrate's court at Hohoe has sentenced Kofi Ahortor, a driver, to a fine of 100 Ghana Cedis for failure to renew road-worthiness certificate covering his bus.
Ahortor, who pleaded guilty would serve two months in jail in default of payment.
Police Inspector Emmanuel Kpodo told the court presided over by Ms Janet Awo Bakudie that the Hohoe Divisional Motor, Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) arrested Ahorbor on the Hohoe-Accra road for driving a bus without a current road-worthiness certificate it.
