Ghanaian players excel abroad

It was an all-action weekend for Ghanaian players in Europe with atriker Matthew Amoah excelling with two goals among other sterling performances. Ghanasoccernet files a comprehensive wrap-up of the performance of the players.

 

England

Franco Zola suffered his first premiership defeat over the weekend as boss of the hammers and it was Mustapha Riga's Bolton Wanderers which halted the winning waves of the buoyant West Ham United .

In the Portuguese Superliga, Academica Coimbra played a one all game with Nacional. Former Asante Kotoko midfield ace William Tiero did 90 minutes of action for Academica.
