ALHAJI Hamza Danjumah, Ho Regional Chief Imam, has said the formation of a single Hajj Committee is the only way to forestall the annual confusion associated with the pilgrimage to Mecca.
He attributed the annual confusion to proliferation of Hajji committees and suggested that they should all be merged into a single Hajj Committee.
"The annual confusion associated with the pilgrimage has dented the image of organisa-tions associated with the Hajj pilgrimage," he noted.
Alhaji Danjumah advised Muslim youths to resist any attempts by politicians to lure them to cause confusion during and after the election.
He was speaking at a forum to mark the Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
Captain (rtd) George Nfojoh, Member of Parliament for Ho Central, allayed the fears of Ghanaians of any electoral violence saying the election would be peaceful and violent free.
He urged the muslims to vote massively and wisely to bring an end to the yearly confusion at the organisation of the Hajj.
Capital (rtd) Nfojoh later donated eight mini bags of rice towards the Eid-ul-Fitr festivities.
