Commonwealth Hall gets new master

Prof. George Armah, an associate professor, Noguchie Memorial Institute, Legon has been appointed the new Master of the Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana.

Prof. Armah, 52 takes over from Prof. Harry Akussah who had served his eight year tenure of office.

A statement signed by Alhaji Razak El-Alawa, Greater Accra Regional President of Old Vandals Association said Prof. Armah promised to work hard to uplift the image of the Hall and to continue with the good works of his predecessor, adding, "I have learnt a lot from my predecessor since our student days."

Prof Armah encouraged Fellows of the Hall to show more interest in the affairs of the Hall to ensure its development.
