The CPP flag bearer, Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, says a CPP led administration will revitalise defunct industries in the Central Region in order to create jobs for the youth.
He said when voted into power, he will continue the industrialisation programme by the first president Dr Kwame Nkrumah where value will be added to the nation's natural resources. Dr Nduom made this statement when he toured some parts of the Central Region, yesterday.
At Saltpond,hundreds of CPP faithfuls donning T-shirts draped in party paraphernalia lined up the streets while many others stood in front of their houses to catch a glimpse of the CPP presidential aspirant.
Addressing a gathering at a mini rally, Dr Nduom described the poverty in the region as unfortunate and called on the people to vote for the CPP to change their fortunes.
At Kormanti in the Mfantesman West Constituency, the CPP flag bearer addressed members of the Twelve Apostles Church of Ghana, popularly called Awoyoo,where they were having a Fasting and Prayer Retreat.
In his remarks the flag bearer called on Christians to pray for peace before, during and after the election .
Dr Nduom said Christians need to participate in the electioneering process to ensure that they elect a credible leader.
He assures the people that the CPP will continue to preach message of peace to stir up the confidence in Ghanaians.
