I, Mr. Wisdom Tsatsu, Constituency Chairman of the Lower Manya N.D.C wish to state that my attention has been drawn to a publication in the Chronicle newspaper of Wednesday 27th August, 2008 of my purported defection to the N.P.P
The said publication went on toallege that I have defected with three hundred (300) members of the N.D.C to the NPP I wish to state that the publication is not true. The story has only been made to frame me up.
Furthermore, I wish to state that the said publication is only attempt by group of disappointed people to tarnish my hard won reputation. I have never dreamt of deserting N.D.C to join any other party.
I believe that the reporter of the chronicle newspaper has failed in his duty as a journalist by publishing a report without seeking further clarification from me.
It is evidently clear from the conduct of the chronicle newspaper that he is being used by some faceless people to attain their selfish ends. For the reporter to give his own way to report anything from a street corner amount to treachery.
I therefore write to distance myself from the said defection palaver and state that no newspaper reporter has approached me for any interview. I have also never met with any group of people, be it N.D.C or N.P.P supporters to declare any defection from the former to the letter.
I will like to take this opportunity to assure all followers of the Great N.D.C that “I was with the party yesterday, I am with party today and I will be with the party tomorrow and forever”.
Finally, I wish to advice the publisher of the chronicle newspaper in his own interest to withdraw the said publication within one week or I will advice my self.
Thank you. Wisdom Tsatsu (N.D.C Constituency Chairman Lower Manya Krobo)
