The District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Ben Abankwah, said the acquisition of the excavator would help to improve upon maintenance of the road network in the district, to enhance carting of foodstuffs from the hinterlands to the urban areas.

He noted that it would also help improve the movement of people and economic activities.
