Dr Roger Oppong Koranteng, a senior lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), has been appointed Adviser in Governance at the Commonwealth Secretariat, in the United Kingdom.
A statement issued by GIMPA yesterday said Dr Koranteng will be a principal specialist responsible for the Public Sector Governance Programme at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London.
Dr Koranteng obtained his PhD degree in Public Policy from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom; a Masters Degree in Policy and Administration from the Institute of Social Studies at The Hague in Netherlands and BA (Hons.) degree from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Until his appointment he was a Senior Lecturer at the Graduate School of Governance, Leadership and Public Management of GIMPA.
