Dormaa Municipal Assembly assists project with 40 bags of cement

Dormaa Municipal Assembly has presented 40 bags of cement valued at 400 Ghana cedis towards the construction of a classroom block for the local Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Kindergarten at Dormaa-Ahenkro.

The presentation was in response to an appeal made by Mr Frederick Asomah Kroko, Headteacher of Dormaa SDA Basic School to the assembly for assistance to provide permanent structures for the children.

Mr Atta Amponsah, Dormaa Municipal Chief Executive, said the assembly had prioritised development of infrastructure for pre-schools and gave the assurance that it would make allocations particularly for KGs to ensure the children were properly accommodated to enhance their comfort and interest in education.

He appealed to kindergarten instructors to expose the children to acceptable societal norms to enable them grow up with them.

Mr Kroko, commended the assembly for the gesture and pledged they would be well utilised.

He appealed to KG instructors to promote sanitation among the children to avoid outbreak of communicable diseases.
