A one-man campaigner was on Friday arrested in Parliament for violating the rules of the House.
Mr. Christopher Owusu Marfo was picked by security operatives in the House when he raised a banner while Parliament was in session.
He fell foul of Parliamentary rules which prohibit individuals from engaging in any sort of campaigning in the House.
He challenged the Marshals of Parliament to take to court if they thought he violated any laws of the land.
According to him, he is a Ghanaian and has the right to go to the House and raise whatever concerns he had.
Mr. Marfo adorned national colours, was taken away by the police but it is unclear where was being taken to.
It however believed he will be interrogated and the appropriate charges proffered against him.
The banner he raised had a number of issues written on it.
Some of them read; “Journalists must be circumspect; President Kufuor must be condemned for releasing Dan Abodakpi and Ama Benyiwa Doe must also be awarded”.
