Parents must pay school fees on time

Pastor (Mrs) Comfort Chemfe Adjarko, Proprietress of Creator Schools in Tema on Friday presented some items worth over GH¢5,000 to the management of State School for the Deaf in Ashaiman Municipality and Happy Home Academy in Tema Metropolis.

Management of State School for the Deaf received 30 cutlasses, 25 hoes, five pick-axes, five each of wheelbarrows, shovels, spades, rakes and two (300 gallons capacity) polytanks valued over GH¢2,000.

Management of Happy Home Academy situated at Tema Manhean received 1,500 assorted Ga text and work books, 24 tables and 22 chairs worth about GH¢3,000.

Mrs Adjarko said the presentation was her contribution to the school's silver jubilee celebration and the presentation to the academy was to help in the teaching of Ga language to promote the language among the indigenes.

She advised parents to endeavour to pay their children's schools fees on time and avoid extravagant lifeclasss at the expense of their education.

Mr Michael Cudjoe, Headmaster of State School for the Deaf expressed appreciation for the gesture and pledged to put them to good use.

Madam Cecilia Amu, Headmistress of Happy Home Academy, also expressed appreciation for the gesture.
