
Ghana's Under-17 team,the Black Starlets,made a bright start at the four-nation invitational tournament with a 3-0 win over Tunisia in Abidjan on Saturday.
The Starlets team was assembled in less than a week and have made surprising campaign in their first major assignment.
The Black Starlets were unbeaten in eight friendly games between leaving for the tournament.
Ghana will play Gabon,who lost 4-1 to hosts Ivory Caost,on Monday and Tunisia play Ivory Coast in the other game.
The Black Starlets want to trim all rough edges before they begin their Africa Championship qualifier against Libya in August.
