Accra, June 23, GNA - The atmosphere over the country is stable and as such night and morning hours would be of few clouds, according to a statement from the Ghana Meteorological Agency in Accra.
However, it said there was very low possibility of light rain or mist and fog patches forming over sheltered forest areas of Southern Ghana and the coast early morning.
The statement said the rest of the day would be cloudy in the south, bright in the north and sunny with rain cloud formation over middle Volta and Eastern Region possibly spreading to affect Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Regions later in the evening.
The three Northern Regions, Upper East, Upper West and Northern are expected to experience sunny, warm and isolated thunderstorms with temperatures between 24 and 36 degrees Celsius.
The middle belt, Brong Ahafo and Ashanti Regions would experience cloudy, local rainstorms with temperatures between 22 and 32 degrees Celsius.
The forest sector, Eastern and Volta Regions, would experience cloudy, local rainstorms with temperatures between 22 and 32 degrees Celsius.
The coastal sector, Western, Central and Greater Accra Regions, would experience night time light rain with temperatures between 23 and 31 degrees Celsius.
