FOR hours, it was all praise singing and dancing to the glory of God by members of the Apostles Missiah Church at Davidkrom on the Mamfe-Larteh Road in the Eastern Region.

In what seemed like a singing competition, the various groups, adults, youth and children groups, took turns to raise their voices to the Lord Almighty for his guidance, protection and love for the nation at large.

These were parts of activities that marked the church’s celebration of the Feast of Pentecost here, last weekend.

The Feast of Pentecost was ordained by God for the Israelites and for that matter all Christians for the renewal of oneness. During the celebration, members seek God’s face by asking for forgiveness of sins and seeking His grace and mercy.

The head and spiritual leader of the church, Apostle Sam Darko, urged all Ghanaians, especially Christians to obey God’s commandments, stressing that it is only when they obey God and live righteous lives that they can fully enjoy God’s blessing.

'It is only when we learn to tolerate each others’ views and unite as a people that we can live peacefully and develop as a nation. At least, we should learn from the mistakes of other countries,' he said.

'Let’s learn to forgive one another and live as brothers and sisters and by so doing we can move forward,' he added.
