The Kasoa East District branch of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, ended its women's week on Sunday with a call on Christians to make meaningful, the call to ensure a sustainable peace and stability in the country.
Making the call, Mrs Felicia Ofosu, Deaconess of the Church said, peace is a prerequisite for national development and for that reason, Christians should discouraged any attempt to breed social conflicts.
She said they should create a congenial atmosphere for happiness for the benefit of family members and society at large.
She said Christians must shunned bribery and corruption in whatever form because saying: “You should say no when people said it's good to have it”.
Mrs Ofosu said instilling greater discipline and the fear of God in Children was imperative to making headway to growing useful citizens and added “when that happens, you will be happy to see them”.
She said parents and guardians must not speak profane language to corrupt their children or cursed them when they went wrong, but rather politely corrected them.
Mrs Ofosu spoke on the theme: “The Happy Woman”
