The Krachiwura, Nana Mprah
Besemuna III, has assured the Volta Regional Minister, Mr. Samuel Kofi Dzamesi, of total peace in the Krachi area, following the passing away of the chief of Pai-Katinka, Nana Ofosu Yiadom IV, of the Pai Division of the Krachi Traditional area.

The Krachiwura gave the assurance to the Regional Minister, when a delegation from the Krachi Traditional Council, led by the President of the Council, Nana Mprah Besemuna, went to see him at Ho, to inform him about the unfortunate incident in the area.

Nana Mprah Besemuna said the late chief played an important role in the Traditional Council, noting that his contributions at meetings, had contributed immensely to the development efforts of the area, and stressed that care would be taken, to ensure that in finding a successor to Nana Ofosu Yiadom, there would be no incidences of violence.

He said the Minister would accordingly be informed about the date for the burial.

On his part, the Regional Minister shared the same concern as the Krachiwura, and said the late chief had demonstrated a high level of leadership qualities during his reign, saying he really played the role of a leader, which clearly showed that he loved his people.

Mr. Dzamesi noted that chieftaincy and land disputes, were mostly the major development problems of the region, and stressed the need for kingmakers to ensure that the rightful persons were elected, to occupy such sensitive and respectful positions, in society.

He also promised the Traditional Council, of the Regional Coordinating Council's support in the preparation towards the funeral.
