Chelsea boss Avram Grant has warned Sir Alex Ferguson that his mind games will not help Manchester United in Moscow.

The two English giants will go head-to-head next Wednesday in the Champions League final after tussling to the wire for the Premier League crown, which United secured with a final-day win at Wigan.

Ferguson has very shrewdly attempted to claim the underdog role by claiming Chelsea s collective experience gives them the advantage heading into the May 21 clash.
But Grant has dismissed the notion that his team has any sort of upper hand, claiming both the Blues and the Red Devils are on level pegging.

“No team has the advantage and Sir Alex can say whatever he likes,” the Israeli said. “They want to take the Champions League and we want to take the Champions League but no team has an advantage before the game.”

Chelsea defeated United when they met in a heated league clash at Stamford Bridge recently, Michael Ballack scoring a brace to give the Blues a 2-1 win.
And Grant is positive that his side can reproduce that result at the Luzhniki Stadium next week.

“I'm very confident we can beat United," he said. "We beat them two weeks ago at Stamford Bridge.

“I don't think they're better than us. In these games small things make the difference. It's very exciting because it's the first time my club are in the Champions League final.” Goal
