A Presidential aspirant of Democratic People Party (DPP) Mr T.N. Ward-Brew has exhorted Ghanaians to vote for a leader with good moral and sound religious standing during the December polls.

He said it is only such a leader that would work conscientiously towards promoting transparency, and due diligence to curb corruption for accelerated national development.

Mr Ward-Brew called on religious institutions to engage in active politics and seek political positions in the country.

He advised Ghanaians to refrain from voting on ethnic lines but vote for Presidential candidates who could lead the country for the benefit of the entire citizenry.

Mr Ward-Brew explained that the DPP had dignified personalities who were determined to promote the wealth of the people when voted into power.

He said provision of potable water to all parts of the country would be an elected DPP government's main priority and assured state-owned media of adequate logistics and equipment to work efficiently and effectively.

“Roads linking farming communities would also be improved to transport foodstuffs and increase farmers' yield to ensure national food security,” he added.

Mr Ward-Brew appealed to the party's delegates at constituency congresses to elect reliable and dedicated people to lead the party to a resounding victory in December.
