An Investment and Management Firm, Kabod Kadel Limited is to undertake a GH¢3,500,000 project to be added to the new Kasoa Market located on the Kasoa –Bawjiase road in the Central Region. The firm and the Awutu Senya District Assembly had earlier on signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the project in the light of the Public Private Partnership initiative.
The project which is expected to be completed within a period of five years will include lockable stores, a clinic, a crèche, hostel, cold store, fire station and places of convenience.
A sod-cutting ceremony for the commencement of work came off early this week at Kasoa during which the District Chief Executive of the Awutu Senya District Assembly, Hon. Solomon Abam Quaye in his speech said the project was significant to the country's internal trade.
The Director of Kabod Kadel, Mr. Peter Nuamah, said the project when completed, would have several prospects and benefits as it would strengthen the District Assembly to generate the much needed revenue to embark on developmental projects.
