THE GHANA School Feeding Programme has denied that its Executive Chairman, Dr Kwame Amoako Tuffuor has been asked to proceed on leave.

“We at the Secretariat would like to inform the public without any fear of contradictions that the Executive Chairman has not been asked to proceed on leave or whatsoever.”

A statement issued by the Programme in Accra on Wednesday and signed by Ernest Sitso Domie, the Public Relations Officer, said the Chairman continued to remain at post, and therefore advised any group of people or individual to stop peddling false information about the Secretariat and the Executive Chairman.

The statement clarified that “it is rather the Director of Finance who has been asked to proceed on leave.

“Also, we would like to debunk a story carried by The Point newspaper that there was confusion at the Secretariat and will like the public to disregard every issue raised in the said news item,” the statement added.
