‘Spread The Gospel’

REV. DR. THOMAS Kwame Adjei, Head Pastor of the True Pentecostal Church (TPC) has slammed Christians for doing too little to spread the gospel of the Lord across the world.

To him, sin was flourishing in the world because Christians who were supposed to be the light of the world were inactive in development, which had paved way for demonic acts to become the order of the day.

“Immoral acts such as fornication, prostitution, adultery, armed robberies, rape and brutal murders are now on the ascendancy in our country because Christians are idle and are not preaching against it,” he said.

Rev. Dr. Adjei has therefore charged Christians to take their rightful positions as the light of the world, and preach the gospel to save more souls for God's kingdom, stressing that it was the only way to save the country from the hands of the devil.

Rev. Dr. Adjei gave the sermon during Christ's Ascension Sunday service held at the TPC Kumasi Assembly at Sawaba, a suburb of Kumasi, as part of activities marking the Easter festivities.

The well-patronized church service coincided with the ordination ceremony of three staunch members of the church. Two persons were elevated from Reverend to Pastor, whilst the third was promoted from Deacon to Reverend.

Rev Dr. Adjei admonished those ordained to shun all worldly motives and offer themselves as sacrificial lambs to help spread the word of the Lord across the length of the world.

Reynolds Antwi Boadu, who was elevated from Deacon to Reverend, speaking on behalf of the rest, pledged to 'kill themselves a little' to help promote the word of the Lord, and called for prayers and support from their fellow Christians to enable them achieve their high hopes.
