Black Queens head coach, Isaac Paha, and his two assistants, Dan Owusu and Dora Zuta, have been relieved of their post by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) ahead of the team's Africa Women's Championship (AWC) return leg against their Ivorian counterparts at home this weekend.

The decision was taken on the recommendation of the Black Queens Management Committee.

The coaches' removal was linked to the dip in performance by the Queens in recent times.

Their places have been taken by Black Princesses coaches, Nuhu Mohammed and Ben Fokuo. The two coaches will be in charge when the Queens take on the Ivorians.

It will be recalled that coaches Paha and Dan Owusu, together with goalkepers' trainer, Zora Zutah, qualified the Queens to the last AWC in Nigeria where they finished second behind Nigeria.

The same technical team was in charge when the Queens made their third World Cup appearance in China last October.
