Ghana defender John Pantsil has been released from hospital hours after being rushed for treatment.
The West Ham defender was stretchered off immediately after the final whistle in Ghana's 2-1 win over Guinea on Sunday.
Pantsil complained of faintness and was sent to the hospital for further check-up.
Ghana's physical trainer Herve Renard disclosed that the right-back was weakened during the first half of the game.
"He took a knock to the jaw after a rough challenge in the first half," said Renard.
''He is okay now and is currently celebrating with his colleagues.I think that is good news for the medical team.
''We will run further test on him to make sure he is fit by Thursday.''
