Ghana Captain Stephen Appiah predict a tough challenge for the Black Stars against Guinea as he joins up with the rest of his team mates.
The Black Stars play Guinea in the tournament opener at the Ohene Djan stadium on Sunday.
The Fenerbache star has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury and expects the tie against the Sylli National to be hard-hitting.
' It will be difficult to sit on the sidelines but i think my colleagues will win even though it wont come easy'.
' I have seen the Guineans play and they are good side but we will have home support to our advantage, 'Appiah said.
Ghana are under pressure to emulate the two previous hosts of the tournament, Egypt in 2006 and Tunisia in 2004, to win the tournament and must first assert themselves in the difficult Group A that includes Morocco and Namibia.
