A taskforce of the Western Regional Directorate of the National Road Safety Commission will from Monday begin an exercise to tow all articulator trucks and other vehicles parked at unauthorised locations.These form part of measures to enhance road safety and ensure the free flow of vehicular and human traffic in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis during Ghana 2008. All contractors who have heaped stones and sand on pedestrian walk ways would also have to remove them immediately or face prosecution. The Western regional Co-ordinator of the National Road Safety Commission, Thomas Bismark Boakye, announced this at the First Regional Road Safety Stakeholders Forum at Takoradi.
