PRIDE OF the north, Real Tamale United (RTU) will lock horns with Kessben FC at the newly-constructed Tamale Sports Stadium tomorrow to test the facility.
The 20,000 capacity ultra-modern stadium built by government recently for the 26th MTN African Cup of Nations will host teams in Group C which comprises Tunisia, Senegal, South Africa and Angola.
Mr. Fred Acheampong, Communications Director of Kessben FC who disclosed this to DAILY GUIDE SPORTS in an interview noted that the LOC/FA would use the match to test the quality of the field and other infrastructure at the new stadium.
It would be recalled that both the Ohene Djan and Baba Yara stadia in Accra and Kumasi respectively had hosted similar matches of late to assess their quality and readiness for the Africa tournament.
