Woman in Police custody for husband’s death

Janet Mensah, a resident at Atwima Foase in the Ashanti Region has been arrested by the police after allegedly poising her husband.

It is reported that Janet Mensah, the suspect, who was not at all pleased at the constant taunts by neighbours of her husband's supposed “physical challenge”, prepared tea which she laced with a poisonous substance and gave to her husband to drink.

After taking in the tea, the husband whose name was reported as Daniel became unconscious and consequently died while been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Hospital in Kumasi.

Janet has since then been remanded in prison custody.
