Western Union To Give Free Tickets To Fans

From now till the end of January 2008, Western Union Money Transfer will every week reward winners of the ongoing Western Union Soccer-Fever Promotion with free Ghana 2008 tickets, GH¢100 and other soccer prizes to hype the upcoming Ghana 2008 tournament.

Last Friday, 40 customers of Western Union Money Transfer were declared First-Batch-Winners of the promotion at a draw which took place at the premises of the National Investment Bank, an agent of Western Union.

Each of the 40 winners who represented the Northern and the Southern zones of the country will receive GH¢100, a ticket to watch one of Ghana 2008 matches, a branded T-shirt, a baseball cap, camera and Kente stoles.

Winners from the Northern Sector were Doris Owusu, Yaa Dankwah, Suzana Kuntor, Elizabeth Blankson, Sabina Oppong, Ebenezer Qartsin, Asare Bediako, Charles Anti, Sammy Asumah, Comfort Agyeiwaa, Naa Akwasi Acheampong, Clara Owusu, Elizabeth Sam, Afua Konadu, Regina Selby, Jamah Grulstu, Olivia Tawiah, Ama Asantewaa, Janet Oteng and Kwame Baffour.

Winners from the Southern Sector are Helena Graham, John Porchis Baidu, Hawa Rachid, Richard Darko, Roselyn Edem Alifo, Samuel Korankye, Azido Walker, Franklyn Essel Sheshberzar Essel, Jerry Brown Kewsson, Dominic Tahiru, Abdallah Uthman, Peter Suanta, Andreas Otto, Joyce Danquah, Richard Amegbor, Rosemary Esinam, Hanna Yawson, Mariam Camara and Helena Obbeng.

In a release, the Western Union management explained that between now and January 13, 120 other lucky customers will each receive prizes ranging from GH¢ 100, Ghana 2008 tickets, branded sports T-shirts, baseball caps, cameras and Kente stoles as part of the promotion.
