Coca-Cola Supports Yilo Krobo

The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited (TCCBCGL) Ghana has presented a sponsorship package valued at over ¢20million to the Chiefs and People of the Somanya Traditional Area as part of the company's support towards this year's Kloyosipklemi festival.

The package includes crates of assorted drinks from the company, T-Shirts, event promotional materials and financing of some entertainment and fun activities during the festival.

Presenting the package on behalf of TCCBCGL, the Public Affairs and Communications Manager, Ike Cudjoe stated, “Coca-Cola truly exists to refresh and benefit all those who are touched by its business.”

He said the Cola-Cola company believes in traditions and as such partners communities that have great pride in their tradition and cultural identity.

Receiving the package, the sub-divisional chief for Nyewer Yorkonor, Asafoatse Nertey Duamoru, praised The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana for being a long-standing partner of the people of Somanya.

The Kloyosipklemi festival belongs to the people of Somanya in the Krobo area. The festival begins on Thursday, November 15, 2007 through to Sunday, November 18, 2007 with several exciting activities.
