THE 2007 annual forum of the Association of Development Finance Institutions (AADFI) for Chief Executive Officers in African Development Banking and Financial Institutions opens at the African Regent Hotel in Accra today.
The forum, hosted by the National Investment Bank Limited and be ending on November 8, 2007 is under the theme: “Framework for implementation of standards and guidelines in African Development Banks and Finance Institutions.”
The purpose of the 2007 Forum is to permit CEOs of Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) to examine with other stakeholders the association's Prudential Standards and Guidelines for African DFIs adopted in Ouagadougou in 2006.
A statement issued by the NIB, stated that the forum would also prepare participants for the effective application of the Prudential Standards and Guidelines in their respective DFls.
