Mr Enoch Osei Mensah, Protocol Officer to the Vice President, yesterday commended President John Agyekum Kufuor for his leadership style that inspires public servants to give of their best.
He said he was touched by the courtesy the President extended to him last Saturday, at the Independence Square, when the organisers of the Eid-Ul Fitr festival acknowledged his contributions towards the programme.
' The President extended a warm handshake to me and congratulated me to the delight of the organisers. 'This is an indication that the President is moved by the humble contribution of every Ghanaian towards national development for which I would forever be grateful.'
He also lauded Vice President Aliu Mahama and the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuhu Sharabutu for their active role in ensuring the success of the annual Muslim event.
